I am soliciting sponsorship for digital, infinitly reproducable works of art, and in turn will allow the public free access to the source codes. The sponsor will receive a unique print, an image that says "sponsor" on it. The first print that was offered read: "esteemed sponsor #1". This print was available at the Bridge Magazine Auction in Chicago. It was purchased by Ruth Crnkovich. Inquire about subsequent prints at adelheidmers at earthlink dot net. After sponsorship has been acquired, the word "sponsor" will be replaced with the sponsor's name on the source file, which will then be made available, free of charge, via this website.
"Sponsor" prints are created using archival inkjet technology on Hahnemühle German etching paper, at a size of 17" x 25.5" . This series is called "Currency". Each print consists of 24 dollar-bill-sized rectangles that are created by microtext, respectively citing proverbs on love, money, war and nature. The image backgrounds are digitally altered photos of bromeliads, taken by me at the Lincoln Park Conservatory in Chicago.
