Embedded Artist Project

The Embedded Artist Project is a collaboration between the City of Chicago and SAIC. Facilitated by my colleague Frances Whitehead, who currently works with the Department of Environment, it is in its beginning stages. Starting in the fall of 2008, I initially worked with DoIT, the Department of Innovation and Technology, in support of Chicago’s Digital Excellence Action Agenda, became involved in creating visual feedback and analyses for Broadband Stimulus Grant Applications as the American Reinvestment and Recovery Act was announced, and have most recently created quantitative visualizations in collaboration with the Office of the Mayor as Stimulus Funding is being implemented in multiple categories, for city wide publication by the Chicago Recovery Partnership.
